Once of the most exciting things about a visit to Walt Disney World is the food! There are many different options in terms of the ambience and the type of food, and there is definitely something for everyone in the offerings.

If you are looking for a fun evening, full of excitement and good food then you might want to consider a visit to ‚Ohana. A word of warning, this place gets a little loud! The staff of Ohana are prepared to offer guests a fantastic meal that is prepared atop an 18 foot fire pit! And, while the food is being prepared you can try your hand at hula dancing, listen to a fantastic storyteller or take part in coconut races. Included in the price of dinner are entertainment, a fantastic meal of skewered meats and side dishes and a wine bar. This is definitely a great location for a fun family dining experience!

Another great option for a fun evening out is Gloria Estefan's Bongo Cafe. For Dezi Arnaz fans, there is a stand up impersonator who will keep you rolling with laughter. This place is definitely more geared toward the atmosphere, with lively Latin music and its art deco interior. The food is rather pricey; however the atmosphere is welcoming to anyone who enjoys an exciting evening.

If German fare is more your taste, you can find a replica of a Bavarian Oktoberfest at Biergarten located in Epcot Center. The festive environment features and authentic Oompah band complete with cowbells and accordions. Guests are invited and encouraged to sing along to add to the environment. Adults will love the oversized beer steins full of such German brews as Beck's and Kirschwasser. And everyone in the family will love the traditional fair of sausages, rotisserie chicken and other German favorites.

For a meal with a true family feel, and much less noise and excitement you might want to take the kids to the 50s Prime Time Cafe. You'll definitely feel at home when your server approaches the table as if you were his or her sibling! The atmosphere is homey, modeled after the traditional Formica laden kitchen in red and black. And, no 1950s kitchen was complete without the little black and white television. At the Prime Time Café, you can enjoy clips from 1950s sitcoms while you wait for your food. Fare here is rather traditional; meatloaf and pot roast, along with fried chicken are the headliners. Don't forget to save room for dessert!

Regardless of your family's food preferences and desire for excitement, there is definitely something for you in Disney World. When you are looking for the perfect place to take your kids, be sure to ask what menu items might work for their tastes! Most eateries in Disney World are kid friendly, and will tailor entrees to milder palettes if you ask.

Make dining part of the fun, and find the perfect place to share some family time and a great meal.
